The Schulz Group Lab specializes in polymer synthesis, organic chemistry, materials engineering, biochemistry, medical devices, radiotherapy, and coatings. The lab houses a Biotage Initiator Plus microwave synthesizer with the Robot 60, CEM Discover microwave synthesizer, Agilent UV-Vis Spectrometer, Biotage V10 Touch Evaporation System, Melt Reactors, TA Instruments Nano Isothermal Titration Calorimeter, TA Instruments Affinity Isothermal Titration Calorimeter, FlexStation II Benchtop Scanning Fluorometer, Glove Box, Biotage® Isolera™ One Flash System with a Biotage® ELSD A120 detector, Shimadzu Gel Permeation Chromatography System, and Wyatt Technology Dynamic and Electrophoretic Light Scattering Detector and Differential Refractometer. The lab also has access to the Macromolecular Materials Discovery Center (MMDC), and in department NMR and Mass Spectrometry equipment.
